on the way home to Moab from the Rochester panel, we stopped at the other end of the San Rafael swell and visited Black Dragon canyon; appropriately named for the pictograph below
also in the canyon are these guys below; looking like tall, weirdly shaped aliens.
on another canyon wall, near to the Dragon are these above your heads - super cool! they look almost like farming scenes. (you can zoom in, if you click on the picture)
on another wall is an oddly shaped creature and his ghostly looking owner. I think it's supposed to be howling at the moon .. or the sun. whichever is appropriate.
above is the view from on top of the rocks located by the dragon; looking down onto the road that will lead us back out of the canyon.
